Acolus - Elemental Tradition : focus usage is on the greek pantheon, deals with the
elements, totems/power animals, and the four winds.

Alexandrian tradition : founded in England during the 1960's. Alex Sander referred to
himself as the " king " of his witches. The rituals are said to be mother
Gardenarian.

British Tradition : mix of Celtic and Gardenarian beliefs. Most famous organization of
this tradition is the Internatioal Red Garters. Studies taken show a couple named Farrar.

Cabot Tradition : very heavily focused on the Celts. Celtic oriented.

Celtic tradition : the use of Celtic / Druidic pantheon mixed with a little Gardenarian (
ritual ) and heavily stressing the elements, nature and the Ancient Ones. They had a vast
knowledge of and respect for healing and magickal qualities of plants, stones, flowers,
trees, elemental spirits, the little people, gnomes, and faieries.

Caledonii tradition : Scottish oriented craft.

Ceremonial Witchcraft : elaborate rites with Egyptian or Qabbalistic magic.

Dianic Tradition : focuses mainly on the Goddess, pegged as the feminist movement.

Eclectic Tradition : any practioner who picks and chooses their practices from various
sources and traditions to suit their own personal comforts and needs.

Faery Wicca : craft practices that focus on the faeries.

Gardenarian Tradition : founded by Gerald Gardner, the father of the re - birth of the
craft.

Hereditary Witch : one who was born into a family tradition and can trace practioners of
the craft in their family tree.

Kitchen Witch : one who practices at hearth and home, mostly city confined practioners.

Pictish Tradition : Scottish orientated that tunes itself wit all aspects of nature
including the inanimate. Solitary form. mainly magick without spirituality. ( Personal

Pow - Wow Tradition : origins from South central Pennsylvania, based on El German magick.

Seax - Wicca Tradition : founded by Raymond Bukland. Saxon tradition.

Solitary Witch : one who practices the craft alone, not with or in a coven.

Strega Tradition : Italian based, honors Aradia, Queen of the witches.

Teutonic Tradition : Teutonic / Nordic orientated craft.
